Biography
I have been playing drums for as long as I can remember.
My music education started with just a snare drum and music notes, taught to me by one of the Percussion players of the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra.
As a young child all I wanted was to play the drum set. I didn't have one yet and my teacher insisted (correctly) that I continue to practice the snare drum and rudiments instead. Those years provided a great foundation for my skills as a drummer and percussionist.
I was born in Israel to British parents, and my upbringing was noticeably English. That made it much easier to settle down here in the UK in the year 2000 when I decided I needed a bigger music world to be
involved in.
London, indeed a great creative ground for music, enabled me to work with many people in different styles of music - from Pop to Jazz and Latin, Northern Soul and Acoustic projects.
I moved down south to Brighton in 2004 and have been involved in a local main project as well as sessions in London and around the South East.
I believe that Music is a channel for sharing feelings between Musicians in a group and between the group and the audience.
The main motive for me as a drummer has always been, to share the feel and rhythm foundation of the track with the main theme - the singer.
My playing has been described more than once as being very melodic. But, if the music is solely instrumental - you can go a bit wild...
